Who pays what
The rate board: what paid research platforms publish about pay
Prolific, UserTesting, Respondent and the survey sites, side by side. Floors, ranges, how hard it is to get in, and a link to every source. Updated when the sources change; each row shows its check date.

- Fieldnote publishes no pay figure of its own. UK CAP Code rule 20.4 says a new home-working scheme must not forecast earnings — and we would rather show you the market than guess.CAP Code, section 20

Figures are quoted from each platform's own help pages or from independent 2026 reviews, as linked. They describe those platforms, not Fieldnote. Bars are capped at 100% of the scale; ranges are before any platform fees or currency conversion.
How this board is built
- We only quote figures the platform itself publishes, or that appear in a named independent review from the current year — never our own estimate.
- Every row carries a source link and the date one of us last opened that page and confirmed the figure.
- If a source is more than 120 days old, our build tool refuses to publish the page until someone re-checks it.
- Ranges are shown in the platform's own currency. We do not convert, average or blend platforms together.
- Nothing on this board is a statement about Fieldnote. Our own row says why.

Week planner
Your hours, their published rates. Nothing else.
Pick how many hours a week you could realistically give. We multiply by Prolific's published floor and recommended rate — because those are the only two per-hour numbers in this market that a platform enforces in writing.
What the market publishes, times your hours
Two lines: the enforced floor and the recommended rate. Both are Prolific's numbers, not ours.
Arithmetic on published rates. Not a forecast of what you would make with Fieldnote or with any platform.
Prolific's minimum of £6 per hour, required on every study · Prolific — payment model
Prolific's recommended £9 per hour · Prolific — how much should I pay
Real weeks are lumpier than this: some days have no studies, some screeners reject you, some tasks pay more. Fieldnote does not publish its own figure — see the rate board for why.
